Born on September 14, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Garry was the beloved son of Raleigh and Cindy Williams. He graduated from Walton Verona High School in Walton, KY, and enlisted in the Army in 1974, eventually settling in El Paso, where he spent the remainder of his life.
Garry will be lovingly remembered by his family as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. He dedicated his career to Coastal Transport, rising to a leadership role after immersing himself in the trucking industry, which he cherished. Beyond work, Garry found joy in the motorcycle community, forming lasting bonds that felt like family.
However, Garry's greatest joy was being a dedicated grandfather. He cherished every moment with his grandchildren, especially watching them play sports. A former standout basketball player himself, Garry rarely missed a game and took immense pride in his grandchildren's achievements. They were his brightest light, and he often boasted about his grandkids and great grandkids, who brought him endless happiness. We will always remember his stories, the laughs and the love we all shared.
He is preceded in death by his father Raleigh Williams; his brother Mitchell Williams.
Garry is survived by his wife, Gloria Williams; his daughters Amanda Williams (Victor), and Sherry Williams (Johnny); his stepchildren Tanya Lujan (Daniel), and Andrew Reynaurd; his mother Lucinda Williams; his brothers Raleigh Williams Jr. (Sheila) and Charles Williams; his grandchildren Destyni Rueda (Carlos), Cheyanne Bonilla, Robert Bonilla, Kevin Dominguez, Hailey Dominguez, Zach Dominguez, and his great grandchildren Brooklyn Rueda, and Lincoln Rueda.
