Gary Clifford Watts

Gary Clifford Watts, 66, was called to join his Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 28, 2011. Gary was born in Stuart, Oklahoma on November 1, 1944 to Clifford and Justa Watts, the first of 2 children. He grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Gary was a survey engineer, but retired from Willbros Engineering Corporation and Williams Engineering as a Route Engineer in 2002. During his employment, Gary worked in 49 of the 50 States and in North Africa in the 1980’s. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Justa Watts, in 1999 and 2002 respectively. Gary was a proud member of the Elks of El Paso and a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed being outdoors and participating in outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. He was kind, big hearted, saw the best in everyone, and in every situation. Gary had friends all over the country. Gary is survived by his wife of 22 years, Elaine Baker Watts; sister in law, Nowena J. Baker, both of El Paso. His sister Linda Weaver; Brother in law, Don Weaver; nephew and niece, Brent and Angie Weaver; nephew and niece, Barry and Bekah Weaver;; baby nephew; baby niece, Carter and Ruby Weaver. Dylan Baker Watts passed away in 2006. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home West.
