Genevieve Gilcrease

Genevieve Paschich Gilcrease, age 95, passed away peacefully in her home on October 7, 2016. Known lovingly by her family and friends as “Gigi”, she was born in Columbus, NM. One of 12 children, she was a gentle, caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her surviving children: Genevieve Scott, and Johnnie Gilcrease, his wife Linda, daughter-in-law Carol Gilcrease, grandchildren: Kathaleen (Julio) Rodriguez, Nancy (Alan) Samuels, Deena (Jess) White, Lisa (Jesse) Esparza, Molly (Mike) Sayklay, Luke (Jane) Gilcrease, Paul (Jennifer) Gilcrease. Great grandchildren, Jonathan Stovall, Steven and Scott Samuels, Matthew Bradley, William and Samantha Sayklay, Liam, Mary Kate, Taliesen Gilcrease, Kate and Lucy Gilcrease. She is also survived by sisters Dorothy Beirne and Margaret Graham. Genevieve had a passion for sewing and quilting, tending gardens, and adoring her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:00 am at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N. Resler, El Paso, TX 79912.
