Gilbert L. Bustillos

Gilbert Bustillos, of El Paso passed away peacefully on July 15, 2014 at the age of 72. He was born December 1, 1941 to Tomas and Esther Bustillos, who preceded him in death. Gilbert retired after 32 years with the El Paso City-County Health and Environmental District. He started his career as an X-ray Technician and culminated his career as an Immunization Program Manager. When Gilbert retired in 2000, he enjoyed spending his time traveling with his wife Lily. Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents, brother Tommy and daughter Monica Bustillos. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lily Bustillos and his children, Ron, Rick and wife Kristy, Randy and wife Jennifer, Roger and wife Gretchen, Robbyn and husband Lennie Brooks and grandchildren, Andrew, Adyson, William and Olivia. He is also survived by his Father-in-law Jesus Reynoso, his brother Louie and sisters Lilly and Aurora Hernandez and many wonderful friends and family. You will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Friday July 18 from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm, Vigil at 7:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral 1060 Carolina Drive. Funeral Services will be held Saturday July 19 at 9:30am at St. Raphael Parish 2301 Zanzibar with Interment to follow at Evergreen East Cemetery.
