

In loving memory of Harvey David Joseph, a resilient small business owner and real estate investor from El Paso, who peacefully passed away at the age of 84. Born in El Paso in 1939 to Syrian immigrant parents, David and Nacima Joseph, Harvey's life unfolded as a remarkable journey of dedication, love, and achievement. Harvey was not only a dedicated businessman but a loving brother, partner, father, grandfather and friend.
Harvey's business journey commenced with the acquisition of the Art Center and later Sturgis & Company. Through unwavering commitment and hard work, Harvey not only sustained but elevated these businesses, earning admiration in the local business community.
Later in life, Harvey transitioned into real estate investing, maintaining the same commitment to excellence that defined his earlier endeavors. Alongside his professional achievements, Harvey found lasting love with his long-standing partner, Beverly Glenn. Together, they shared a life filled with love, laughter and mutual support.
A devoted father, Harvey leaves behind his cherished children, David, Dawn, Christopher and Lesley. His guidance and values have left a lasting impact on each of them. The Lessons of hard work, resilience, and kindness he imparted will continue to shape their lives. Harvey's children find comfort and solace in the enduring presence of their mother, Amparo Joseph.
Harvey's influence extended to the succeeding generation, touching the lives his grandchildren, Kaira, Sofia, Elijah, and Alexis. Preceded in death by his sisters Mary and Myrna, Harvey is survived by his beloved sister Lillian.
A Memorial service to celebrate Harvey's life will be held at The Sweet Spot at 1421 Lee Trevino Dr. A-3 behind Ay Cocula restaurant on November 25th from 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. George Church (https://www.stgeorge-elpaso.org/), and please leave a note indicating the donation is made in memory of Harvey David Joseph. As we bid farewell to a beloved brother, partner, father, and friend, we remember Harvey Joseph with deep gratitude for the light he brought into our lives.
