Uncle Hector,

I think of you all the time.  Please find my Letty, she left December 23, 2022.  She’s most likely with Daddy.

I love you, Dad.  You were very instrumental in my life.  You showed me how to forgive, how to give, and how to have a sense of humor no matter the circumstances.  You will always be a happy thought in my mind.  Love you, Anne Stone

 First of all I want to extend my deepest condolences to the entire Arrendo family.    I think you for sharing Hector with us all. When I think of memories of Hector, there are just too many to write down. We lived on the same block as the pharmacy and my dad and Cecilo were good friends.     I remember watching Hector working alongside his dad.    I was born in 1951 and I am sure from the time I was a baby my mom and dad would  take me to the pharmacy. Some of my dearest memories are of walking into the pharmacy and smelling the ice cream fountain and the candies that were out in the open.   To this day that is one of my fondest memories of my childhood.   One day  when I was about three or four , I went home with a handful of candies that of course I did not pay for.    My dad walked me over to Hector and told me that I had to tell him what I had done. Of course as a child having to tell an adult that she stole something was the worst punishment. Yet when I told Hector,  he just hugged me and told me never to take anything but always ask.    This was a great lesson that I have never forgotten and truly impacted me.   As I grew up, I never forgot about him and would make it a point of visiting whenever I was in the neighborhood or even making a trip to visit him.    He  always made time for me no matter how busy he was.    We moved to Olympia,  Washington seven years ago and I would still make the trek to go see him.   He was a man of honor, integrity and a deep love for humanity. He loved his family. Men like Hector are few and far between. May God bless him in heaven and give him his just reward. I know God said Hector -  job well done when he met him at the gates of Heaven.     Thank you Hector for being a major piece to my hearts puzzle. 

Dear Arredondo Family,

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Hector. I remember him dearly as he helped Tio Chilo at the San Pedro Pharmacy on Alameda Street. His fun-loving personality and forever smile warmed my heart as a child visiting my grandmother, Mama China, next door.

May God and his angels welcome him to his final resting place and may you always cherish those beautiful memories of Uncle Hector the rest of your lives.

My Dearest Dad,
My heart breaks to know that I will not be able to call you on Tuesday mornings.  You have been such a blessing to me, Dan, Mindi and Analisse.  We will miss our conversations, your kind words of encouragement, friendship, and love.  It was wonderful to grow our friendship over the years and include into our family Eva, Adrian, and Chris.  We were blessed to watch your family grow as a part of our own.  May God bless you as you have blessed me and others, may he provide a cherished place for you to spread your joy further.

My dearest Uncle Hector, although I am not your family I have known you for 40 years. In that time I am proud to say I have come know one of the finest human beings I have ever known. I will miss the warm smile you always greeted me with and the talks we would have in the drug store. Please know that I will always miss you and there will be a day when I will see you again and you will be  the same warm, wonderful person I have come to know. God bless you.

My dear dear Uncle Hector. How can we ever forget your constant smile and the kindness you displayed to everyone who's lives you touched . Ever the jokester,  who brightened the world for everyone.  Always there for us all. Family, friends,  everyone.  Uncle Hector, you were the backbone of The Arredondo Family.  I will always cherish you, for your help, guidance, your heart, your kindness,  and of course, making us laugh. Your sense of humor was one of a kind. You seemed utterly indestructible.   I know your with God, ane joined your loving brothers, sisters, and my grandparents. You're in good company.  Love you Uncle Hector, and Thanks for the memories. Our lives are all better because of you. Hasta lambego..

Tio Hector,

You were a kind and gentle soul, I will always remember with my grandfather Oscar Arredondo  would take me to go visit you at the pharmacy . May you rest in peace tio. 

Uncle Hector,

You are so loved.  You are (were) an angel walking on Earth; a man of compassion, integrity, soul  and empathy.  

I will deeply miss your sense of humor and benedizioni(s) italiane.   Thank you for the hugs, smiles, endless laughter and ice cream.

I love you Uncle Hector, to the moon and back.
