Henry Garcia Jr, 65, of El Paso, TX, passed away on March 21, 2023, after battling dementia. Henry was born on December 9, 1957, to Henry Garcia and Carmen Garcia, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He worked for many years in the manufacturing industry following the footsteps of his father, where he got to live in Costa Rica, California, Mexico and Texas as he held the position of General Plant Manager. In his last 20 years he worked in the automotive sales industry where he held multiple roles. He was also actively engaged with the Catholic Church and a member of the ACTS. Henry was a loving father, a kind and thoughtful soul and a friend to everyone. You would always find him with a humble smile and he enjoyed telling stories, and helping people. He will be missed and remembered by the many lives that he touched.
Henry was predeceased in death by his father, Henry Garcia and mother, Carmen Garcia. He is survived by his brother, Eric Garcia, his sister Virginia Garcia; sons, Henry Eric Garcia and Michael Antonio Garcia; daughters, Briana Angelica Garcia-Muratalla and Marely Andrea Garcia; and three granddaughters, Lena Sofia Garcia (7), Victoria Mykle Garcia (6), and Ariana Idalia Garcia, (3).
Services will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer Street, on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 4:00 to 9:00pm with Rosary at 7:15pm. Mass on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9025 Diana Dr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dementia Society of America.
