Hermelinda Navarro de Gonzalez

With heavy hearts and deep love, we share the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Hermelinda Navarro De González, 74, who gained her eternal wings on April 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born on October 9, 1951, in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Salvador Navarro and Carmen Enriquez. She later made her home in Del Cerro, New Mexico, where she built a life rooted in love, sacrifice, and devotion to her family. Being a mother was not just her role—it was her purpose, her pride, and her greatest joy. She was a faithful Catholic, devoted to La Virgen de Guadalupe.

Hermelinda was the heart of her family—the one who held everyone together with a love so pure and selfless it could be felt in everything she did. She gave endlessly, loved deeply, and stood strong for those she cared about. She had a rare gift of making people feel seen, safe, and important. Her presence brought comfort, her words brought reassurance, and her laughter—so full of life and warmth—could light up even the darkest moments. Her mischievous eyes and beautiful smile are memories her family will hold onto forever.

She loved in the smallest, most powerful ways—making sure you never went hungry, reminding you to bundle up, worrying about you even when you were grown. Her “mother mode” never turned off; she carried her family in her heart at all times. Even though she did not have her own mother for long, she became the most incredible mother anyone could ask for. She gave her children everything and more, shaping a family grounded in love, strength, and unity.

Her love extended beyond her children to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she made sure they knew just how deeply they were loved. She cherished every laugh, every visit, every moment spent together. Those moments will now become treasured memories that her family will carry forever.

Her passing came far too soon, leaving an emptiness that words cannot fully express.

The home she filled with laughter feels quieter, and the hearts she nurtured feel the weight of her absence. But even in this pain, we hold onto the love she gave us—a love that does not fade, a love that will continue to guide us, comfort us, and live within us.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Salvador Jr. Navarro.

Hermelinda is survived by her loving husband and partner of 60 years, Ramiro González, the love of her life, with whom she built a beautiful family and countless memories.

Her children: Juan M. (Emma), Rocio (Eugenio), Ramiro Jr. II, Cesar, Lorena (Juan), and Blanca (Roman). She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Emily and Juan M. Jr. González; David, Erick, and Apryl Herrera; Ramiro Jr. III, Stephanie, and Anahi González; Eileen and Alexis Garnica; and Ayissa and Amaiya Lopez. Her beloved great-grandchildren: Edelyn, Ian, Na’een, Arya, McKenzie, Catalina, Sebastian, Hugo, Luca, Love, and Fae, all of whom brought her endless pride and joy.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on April 15, 2026, at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, with the Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. A celebration of Mass will take place on April 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at San Pedro Del Cerro Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest at Anthony Community Center Cemetery following the service.

Pallbearers include Ramiro González Sr., Juan M., Ramiro Jr. II, Cesar, David, Erick, Ramiro Jr. III, and Juan M. Jr.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her love will never leave us. It lives on in the lessons she taught, in the family she built, and in every memory we hold close. She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed—today, tomorrow, and always.

Con profundo dolor en el corazón y con mucho amor, compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestra amada esposa, madre, abuela, tía y amiga, Hermelinda Navarro De González, de 74 años, quien partió a la eternidad el 4 de abril de 2026, rodeada del amor de su familia.

Nació el 9 de octubre de 1951 en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México, hija de Salvador Navarro y Carmen Enríquez. Más adelante hizo de Del Cerro, Nuevo México, su hogar, donde construyó una vida basada en el amor, el sacrificio y la devoción a su familia. Ser madre no fue solo su papel—fue su propósito, su orgullo y su mayor alegría. Fue una católica fiel, devota de la Virgen de Guadalupe.

Hermelinda fue el corazón de su familia—quien mantenía a todos unidos con un amor tan puro y desinteresado que se reflejaba en todo lo que hacía. Dio sin medida, amó profundamente y siempre fue fuerte por quienes amaba. Tenía el don especial de hacer que las personas se sintieran vistas, seguras e importantes. Su presencia brindaba consuelo, sus palabras daban tranquilidad, y su risa—tan llena de vida y calidez—podía iluminar incluso los momentos más difíciles. Sus ojos traviesos y su hermosa sonrisa serán recuerdos que su familia atesorará para siempre.

Amaba en las formas más pequeñas pero más poderosas—asegurándose de que nunca te faltara comida, recordándote que te abrigaras, preocupándose por ti incluso cuando ya eras adulto. Su “modo mamá” nunca se apagaba; llevaba a su familia en el corazón en todo momento. Aunque no tuvo a su propia madre por mucho tiempo, se convirtió en la madre más increíble que cualquiera pudiera desear. Les dio a sus hijos todo y más, formando una familia basada en el amor, la fortaleza y la unión.

Su amor trascendió a sus hijos, llegando también a sus nietos y bisnietos, quienes eran la luz de su vida. Sus amados bisnietos: Edelyn, Ian, Na’een, Arya, McKenzie, Catalina, Sebastián, Hugo, Luca, Love y Fae, quienes le brindaron un orgullo y una alegría inmensos.

El velorio y la visitación se llevarán a cabo de 4:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. el 15 de abril de 2026 en Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, con el rezo del Rosario a las 6:30 p.m. La Misa se celebrará el 16 de abril de 2026 a las 10:30 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica San Pedro del Cerro. Posteriormente será sepultada en el cementerio Anthony Community Center.
