

Jim Armstrong our beloved husband, father, and grandfather was peacefully born into Heaven on January 8, 2012.
Jim was born June 10, 1934 in San Angelo, TX to Jim and Jessie Armstrong. Jim attended Clint High School, and it was there he meet the love of his life, Janice Surratt. Of course she declared her love for him to his sister at the age of thirteen. When she was sixteen, they married in October 1955. Jim was a jack of all trades. He was a farmer, feed lot manager, and could build anything. He was a member of the Clint Methodist Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years Janice, daughters Sherry Armstrong, Tina Franklin (Donnie), Diana Honne, and son David Armstrong (Lee Composs)
His grandchildren where the lights of his life. Those lights are Wesley Reno (Brady), Amanda Reno, Mando Honne, Lacy Armstrong, Tyler Bott, Reiley Armstrong, Ethan Franklin, Camyrn Armstrong, and Kason Armstrong. Those great grandchildren are Bladen Reno, and Weslynn Reno
Jim is survived by his brothers Willis, Harold, and Mike and sisters Ann and Jackie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Shahinian, Terry, Nadia and all of his staff. Also thanks to the Providence Infusion Center Charlie, Perry, Aurora, Monica, Wendy and staff.
Graveside service will be held Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are:
