In his younger years he was a fireman, Commander of the Police Academy and served as a Detective for 14 years in Juarez. He was employed as City Sweeper for the City of El Paso for 25 years.
His surviving relatives are his wife Pilar M. Ramirez Guillen, Mother Concepcion V. Guillen. He is survived by two brothers Oscar Guillen and Ambrosio Ignacio Guillen. Other surviving family members include his four sons Jason Guillen, Jessie Guillen, John Guillen, Jessie Guillen Jr. and his three daughters Griselda Guillen, Sujey Guillen, Jennifer Guillen and their spouses. His legacy continues to live on with his 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The funeral viewing (rosary will be at 7:00 pm) will be on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Crestview Funeral Home on 1462 N. Zaragoza from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 1:30 pm at St. Patrick Cathedral on 1118 N. Mesa. The burial will be held at 3:00 pm at the New Evergreen Cemetery on 12400 Montana Ave.
Our good Lord took him home on HIS resurrection day. We all love you dearly my beloved husband and you will be greatly missed.
