John Edward Kramer

John Edward Kramer born April 12, 1938 in Sandusky Ohio grew up in Waco, Texas and came to El Paso, his home, in 1971, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. “Kramer” as his family and friends knew him, was a kind and caring man. He married Mildred Feuerstein in 1978 and held the position of General Manager and President of Western Precast Concrete for over 43 years. Riding his golf cart around the Western property with his grandson Alan was a favorite pastime. Kramer was on his golf cart visiting the men in the plant and chatting with office staff the day before his death. His passions in life were family, food and cars. Kramer was a member of the El Paso Horseless Carriage Club and the Paso Del Norte Model T Club. He is survived by wife Mildred, daughter Louann Feuerstein Burrows (Chip), Leo Feuerstein (Danny), David Feuerstein (Veronica), grandchildren Bailey, Casey and Alan Feuerstein, brothers Victor Kramer (Dewey), Dennis Kramer (Donna) and sister Karen Griffin (Joe). Proceeded in death by mother Leota and father Edward. Visitation will take place at Martin Funeral Home East from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM Monday, June 2, 2014. Chapel service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 9:00 AM. Graveside service to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Msgr. Heberto M. Diaz of Brownsville, Texas officiating. Western Precast Management Staff will serve as Pallbearers.
