Years ago early in the morning on the way to work I would run into Jorge on Campbell St. One day he was so happy. He said, Terry "I finally found the love of my life"! He said, can you believe it in my 30's! I replied Jorge everything is on Gods time. Anna, Jackie and Julie I never had the pleasure to meet you. May Bless you all. I just want to let you know that I have known Jorge and his family for along time we go back since elementary. I will never forget what he told me, he said, one of his childhood memories was when my dad would take the whole gang cruising in his 1970's stations wagon to Ascarate Park. We all great times. Mayo, Chuy, Johnny,Tony,Raymond and Lisa. May God Bless you all today,

Anna,Jackie and Julie, I have known your husband an father for many years.  We traveled to Austin and worked on programs to benefit many in El Paso.  He has met my family and they share your loss with you.  Jorge could brighten a day with his love of life and family.  You and the girls were always foremost in his thoughts and work. Ana, Jacqueline and Julianna I had the pleasure of knowing your husband and dad through my brother Genaro through the many visits to Austin for conferences/meetings/workshops.  They would pick me up for lunch at St. Edward's and then Jorge was off to the San Marcos Outlet Mall.    His favorite place for suits for work.  Allot of credit card damage was done in one afternoon in San Marcos. To my family he was known as Little Jorge because the probation department also had a Big Jorge.  Just thought I would share a memory that we had of him.  You are in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead and may you take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you.

My sincerest condolences to the Carreon family. I met Jorge in the 346th, but we saw each other again at MD Anderson. We joked that there must be something in the water at the courthouse. Jorge gave me the strength to keep fighting my cancer with a little bit of faith and a whole lot of laughter. He will be missed dearly.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the Carreon Family. I had the priviledge to work with Jorge at the 346th D.C. where we were a family that shared stories of our loved ones, and enjoyed seeing him take his step into marriage, family and becoming a father.  Jorge loved his wife and girls so much that I felt I knew them just by the wonderful stories he shared with us.  Our connection we shared through work, both graduates of Bowie High School and learning that we had so many friends and family in common was truly a blessing in itself.

It is a loss to those he loved and left behind and a blessing for the heavens that await him as he waits peacefully for his loved ones to join him one day.  God Bless you all for the true soul that we were fortunate to share and know.  Rest in Peace Jorge, you will be dearly missed.

I had the privilege to work with Jorge for the past 6 years in the 346th and enjoyed getting to know him.  I will miss his great laugh and personality.  When he brought his oldest daughter to work, it was clear how much he loved being a dad.  Miss you Jorge - heaven just got to be a more fun place with you there. I still cant believe my cousin is gone.  May he rest in peace and may family and friends be able to cope with such a loss.  Even though we haven’t kept in touch, know that I’ve always have had you all in my thoughts, especially now in this time or sorrow….  The last time I saw George was about 8 years ago when my dad was in the hospital.  He was so happy he was getting married and said, “Im finally getting married at 38!”  I will always remember that moment in time….  God bless you all and just know that we all will meet up with George and gramma one day…

Been a long time since we spoke, yet others let me know how you were doing until recently when I heard that you were not well.  Long time friend, ex-coworker and part of the RC team where you started your first steps and the beginning of your career with the department.  Well dear George, we will meet again so we can laugh at all the crazy stories yet amazing times we all had working together.  I will miss you but smile every time I think of you. When I get to heaven, save me a place with Mr. B and smile when I call you "Junior."
