Jose Ernesto Marquez Jr.

Jose Ernesto Marquez Jr., 53, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 8, 2026. He was born on July 26, 1972, and throughout his life he touched the hearts of many with his kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family and community.

Jose was a devoted son, a loving husband, a proud father, and a cherished grandfather. His family was the center of his world, and he dedicated his life to caring for and supporting those he loved most. He will always be remembered for his warm heart, sense of humor, and the way he made everyone around him feel welcome and valued.

Known and loved by many in his community, Jose built lasting friendships and left a positive impact wherever he went. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and joy to countless lives.

Though he is no longer with us, the memories, love, and lessons he shared will live on forever in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is lovingly honored and survived by his parents, Mary Marquez and Jose Marquez; his beloved wife, Denise Marquez; his daughters, Terry Marquez, Nicole Johnson (Christian Johnson), and Alize Marquez; and his cherished grandchildren, Keilani, Bernice, and Alexander.

Jose Ernesto Marquez Jr. will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936, US, on May 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A committal service will take place at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Avenue, El Paso, TX, on May 16, 2026, from 9:00 am to 9:45 am.
