José Hugo Mora

José Hugo Mora, born on December 18, 1942, in Santa Bárbara, Chihuahua, to Eva Mora Faudoa, passed away on March 24, 2026, after a long battle with cancer.

Hugo was a hardworking, respected, and deeply valued man who touched the lives of many. He dedicated many years of his life as the head custodian at JM Hanks High School, where he was known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and commitment to students and staff.

Beyond his work, Hugo had a passion for art, art history, and music. Later in life, he attended EPCC, where he pursued his interest in art, reflecting his lifelong love of learning and creativity.

He is survived by his children, Carolina Aguirre (Rudy) and Sergio Mora (Gracie); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jessica, Andrew, Sergio Jr., and Danielle; his great-granddaughter, Elora; and his siblings, Rosa, Godofredo Jr., Lupe, and Ceci.

He was preceded in death by his son, José Hugo Mora Jr.; his parents, Eva and Godofredo Faudoa; and his brother, Armando Faudoa.

His legacy will live on in all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
