Juan M. Návar, 95, passed away on February 1, 2015. He received a Bachelors Degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Juan Návar was co-owner of Farmers Dairies & Hot Wells Cattle Company. He is preceded in death by his first wife Maria del Carmen Rizo de Návar and his daughter Teresa Eugenia Návar. Juan Návar is survived by his wife, Magdalena del Rio Návar, sons Luis Roberto Návar (Norma), Juan Manuel Návar Jr. (Janis), Jose Antonio Návar, Jorge Alberto Návar (Lupita), Pablo del Rio, Arturo Xavier Návar, daughters Maria del Carmen Návar, Maggie Villaseñor (Willie), Carolina del Rio, Cristina del Rio, Ana Rosa Franco (Sam), brother Tomas Roberto Návar, 25 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 5-9pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Vigil service at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 1pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina 598-3332.
