With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Juana Howard, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and woman of unwavering love for her family. Juana peacefully entered eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and joy that will live on in all who knew her.
Born with a radiant spirit and a heart full of love, Juana found her greatest joy in her family and her faith. Her family was her foundation, and used her faith to guide her through life’s challenges with grace and strength.
Music was one of Juana’s greatest passions. She loved listening to all kinds of music, and her home was often filled with joyful melodies and soulful rhythms—especially the vibrant sounds of Celia Cruz, whose music brought her endless happiness. Whether through song, or laughter, Juana had a way of lifting the spirits of everyone around her.
She is survived by her beloved sons Donald, Earl, Douglas, Clifford and Robert; her treasured grandchildren David, Betty, Nadine, Benny, Orlando, Valerie and Seth; and her precious great-grandchildren Sophia, Brantley, Addyson, Lynae and Lucas. Each one carries a piece of her light and love forward.
Juana is preceded in death by her devoted husband George W. Howard, and her sons David and Michael, who she now joins in eternal peace.
Her warmth, laughter, and steadfast love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. Though she may be gone from our sight, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
“Her faith was her song, her love the melody, and her family the harmony that completed her life.”
