Julia Arzate was called to her eternal home on May 21, 2024. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband of 66 years and her loving family. She spent her life devoted to her family and serving the Lord. She was a light to anyone she met and was never afraid of speaking about her relationship with the Lord. She will be missed but her legacy continues in the lives of those she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Antonio Torres; her siblings Ignacia, Guadalupe, Antonio, Francisca and Jose Torres. Left to cherish her memories are her husband Arturo Arzate, her children Estela Corral (Jose Luis); Arturo Arzate, Jr.; Grace Taylor (Humphrey) 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren plus her sisters, Anita Alatorre and Isidra Hernandez.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Scotsdale Baptist Church, 10015 Lockerbie Ave, El Paso, TX 79925, on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery-East.
