Larry Abraham Marquez

Larry Abraham Marquez, was born on December 6th 1960 and passed away on May 19th 2026. He is survived by his two children, Jenevie Lee Carreon and Larry Abaram Marquez II, his granddaughters Makaela Alexis, Arianney Celeste, Kara Jocelyn Carreon, his sisters Sylvia Altizer, Georgina Ramirez and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Florencia Marquez and his father Milton Marquez.

He was a father, husband, son, cousin, friend and The Big Dawg. He had a love for baseball, softball, his kids and an appetite for living. If it was Saturday or Sunday you would always see him playing softball in his earlier years. When he got older you would always see him umpiring. There was no doubt he loved being as active as he could.

He worked many places throughout the years and made many friends. He always loved having a cold beer anywhere he went. Wherever he went he always knew someone there, even if he hadn't been there before. He just wanted to cruise the streets in his car.

He was kind, loving, friendly and was always the life of the party. He was always willing to help and be there when you needed him. Dad, we love you and will miss you. Your legacy will live on through us.

A Memorial will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915, US, on May 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and a Rosary Service will also be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915, US, on May 30, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
