Laura H. Herrera Ochoa

Laura H. Ochoa-Segura, 82, was called to our Lord on Saturday morning, May 7, 2011. A resident of El Paso for over 30 years, she was born in Alpine, TX on August 3, 1928. During her years in Fort Worth, she was a secretary at Tarrant County College, served on a building committee for a Catholic church in Azle, TX, and volunteered at Northside Inter-Church Agency, Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents Consuelo Jimenez & Lucas Herrera, Sr and her siblings Lydia Herrera and Corina H. Binswanger, and her first husband, Rodolfo F. Ochoa. Her loving memory will be cherished by her husband Orlando A. Segura, her children Gabriel M. (Stacy L.) Ochoa, Drs. Diane O. (Chae O.) Chu, Oscar A. (Connie M.) Ochoa, Omar P. (Stephanie P.) Ochoa, and Alba A. Ochoa, and her siblings Lucas Herrera, Jr., Daniel J. (Celia) Herrera, Rosa (Javier) Adauto, her brother-in-law Lewis T. Binswanger, and her 10 grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 12:00 PM at St. Patrick Cathedral. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
