Leopoldo Cardenas, 92 of El Paso, Texas passed away September 2, 2021. He was born in Los Angeles on May 2, 1929.

Leo graduated from El Paso High School and then received his degree in Engineering from Texas Western College (UTEP). After working for Ramsey Steel for many years, Leo worked for the El Paso Community College. One thing Leo was very proud of was be elected to and serving on the Canutillo School Board.

Leo is survived by his wife Rosa, sister Alice Roybal, son Steve (Karen), daughters Norma Finkle and Kathy Cardenas, 3 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday September 13, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Scripture Service Starting at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home West, 5054 Doniphan Dr. El Paso, TX 79932. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa NM.
