Leslie Lloyd Strader was born in Frankfurt, Germany August 28, 1960 to Eugene and Virginia Strader. A long time resident of Oklahoma City, Les moved to his childhood home of El Paso to care for his father following his mother's death in 2008. Les met and married Shawna Brickey Strader in September 2008. On February 4, 2010, Les went home to be with His Lord unexpectedly. He was survived by his wife, Shawna Strader of El Paso, sons Shawn Strader at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, Dustin Strader of Oklahoma City and Dylan Draughon of El Paso, daughters Erica Strader of Owasso, Oklahoma and Daphne Draughon of Farmington, NM, his precious new granddaughter Aspen Strader of Owasso, father Eugene Strader and sister Susan Kassner. He is also survived by many friends and loved ones who will always remember him. Les loved the Lord Jesus Christ more than anything and enjoyed sharing his faith. His family was his most precious treasure and he would light up whenever he talked about his children and his new granddaughter. He was a loyal friend who would do anything to help you at a moment's notice.
