El Paso lost a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, as Lilia Parga passed away on October 17, 2023.
Lilia, affectionately known as Eya by her family was the oldest daughter of Julia Rubio Parga and Marcos Parga.
Fondly remembered for her warm smile and infectious laugh, Lilia touched the lives of so many people. An El Paso native, she attended El Paso Tech and spent several years working at Hicks Ponder
Lilia loved life and her greatest happiness came from spending time with family. She frequently traveled to Colorado to deliver Christmas cheer to her sister and nephews and made every occasion special and fun
Lilia is survived by sisters Julia Parga, Romelia Teresa Villescas, sister-in-law Margarita S. Parga (Roberto), nephews Charlie (Nicole), Eduardo, Daniel (Marissa) and Isaac Villescas, Robert (Lety) and Marcos Parga, niece Veronica Parga-Lopez, great nieces Ellycia Villescas-Ducharm (Chris), Emily Villescas, Abby Villescas, Denitsa Parga and great nephews Gavin Lopez, Alexander, Jaxon, Andrew, Ethan, Maximilian and Kole Villescas.
Funeral mass will be held at Santo Nino De Atocha Catholic, Church 210 S Clark Drive on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 12 noon.
