Lucas is survived by his parents Donald Jones and Pamela Jones of Post, Texas; his son Jonathan Forder of Post, Texas; his son Nathan Jones of Post, Texas; and his daughter Vivian Jones of Post, Texas; his brother Jonathan S. Forder (Sam) of Post, Texas; his brother Jesse Jones of Durango, Colorado; his life partner Lakeasha Jones; and Several nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by his Maternal grandparents Brenda Martin of Breckenridge, Texas; and Paul Crosson of Tye, Texas; and his Paternal grandparents Marvin & Ethel Jones of Haskell, Texas.
Lucas loved his family. He also loved to fish, camp, travel, sit around a bonfire with friends and family, and hop a train to new places. He was funny and kind and loyal to a fault. He understood that his relationship with his creator was his top priority and his relationship with others was second. He left his home February 16 on a pilgrimage, he called it, and it led him to the end of his earthly journey. Lucas loved big. His passing will leave a hole in our hearts but he believed that things happen exactly the way they are supposed to. Those of us who are left behind will try to make peace with that.
