She is preceded in death by her son Alberto Eduardo Salinas; her brothers; Fidencio and Juan Bustillos and her sister Estela Alvilla. She is survived by her husband, Marcos Vicente Salinas; her sons Juan Salinas and Jesus Salinas; her daughters Rosa Vasquez, Gladys Bolano and Angelica Lechuga; 17 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren; her brother Conrado Bustillos; her sisters Teresa Cazares, Adi Luna and Alejandrina Duran

Visitation for Luz will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn Funeral Home, 8817 Dyer, El Paso, TX 79904.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama, El Paso, Texas 79930, with a Graveside Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907.
