Manuela P. Rodriguez

Manuela P. Rodriguez, 96, of El Paso, TX passed away peacefully on 11/09/2016 in Houston, TX. Manuela was born in Inde Durango, Mexico on July 20, 1920. Manuela led a long and happy life dedicated to her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her secret to her longevity. Her hobbies were her novelas and caring for her great grandchildren. Manuela is preceded in death by her husband Refugio Rodriguez and daughter Mercedes Morales-Rodriguez. Manuela is survived by her daughters, Maria Elena Schiek and Lourdes Soledad Venegas, grandchildren: Rosa Martinez, Anna Herrera, Carlos Lopez, David O’Donnell, Flor Morales, Guadalupe Medina and many more grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Carlos R. Lopez, Edward Herrera, Matt Martinez, Edward Thomas, Elias Lopez, Mario Lopez, Edward Lee Herrera and Gabriel Dominguez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew Martinez II, Mia Martinez, Alyssa Herrera, Refugio Lopez and Rebeka Lopez. Visitation will be held Sunday, 11/13/16 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Kaster-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home, 8817 Dyer with Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, 11/14/16 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
