

Marcelo was born into a family of 9 children, he was the first male son to Anita and Gregorio M. Trejo. Marcelo graduated from Jesuit High School and attended University of Texas at El Paso for 3 years. He worked at El Paso County in Systems for 20 years and later for A.O. Smith for over 10 years before retiring.
Marcelo was a member of the NRA where he competed and placed in several top competition tournaments. He loved to read about history and was an amazing wood worker. Marcelo was a coach for his kids in Odyssey of the Mind and Destination Imagination. He took pride in his gardening and always put his family first!
Marcelo is preceded in death by his parents, Anita and Gregorio M. Trejo; aunt, Lucila Trejo Fabela; uncles, Jose Trejo and Jesus Munoz.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Margarita Cruz Trejo; children, Diana Alicia Trejo, Marcelo Alejandro Trejo and Adrian Trejo; grandchildren, Victoria Alezandra Trejo, Isabella Raquel Trejo and Christian Elias Trejo. He also leaves behind his uncle, Joe Munoz; sisters, Patricia Brown, Alicia Del Pino, Elena Medrano and Cecilia Carpio; brothers, Robert Trejo, Samuel Trejo, Antonio Trejo and Ruben Trejo.
Serving as pallbearers: Samuel Trejo, Marcelo A. Trejo, Adrian Trejo, Derek A. Brown, Steven Gerard Brown and Mark Del Pino.
