Mom, I wanted to let you know that I carry you every day in my heart!  I have and I never will stop loving you!

Mom,

You were my comforter, my encouragement, my strength, my example, my supporter, a shoulder to cry on, a nurse to tend my wounds, my conscience.  You were and always will be my everything...but most of all you are mom! It was your "hand" I "saw" feeding me oatmeal when I was a baby.  It was your "comfort" I "felt" when I needed my diaper changed.  It was your "encouragement" I needed when I first "walked".  It was your "approval" I “longed for” when I graduated from college.   It was your "cry" I heard when a nightmare would wake you in your sleep.  It was your "joy" I "sensed" when you met your grand daughter, Sierra Marie Morrison and your grandson Adam Christopher James Morrison.  I will tell them of your legacy, mom.  I will tell them how you loved me during the “dark” years!  I will tell them how wonderful you were, and I will never let them forget!

Mom you were the family's defender when "the world" said “we did not have the right to exist.”  You were my "hope" when I felt alone-always telling me "it'll gonna be alright".  You are the greatest mom in the world to me.  All I have are memories…the memories of years gone by...fairytales that had become reality.  All that remain are my tears, flowing from the depths of my heart!  "How do I say goodbye to my best friend?"  "How can I let go of the hand that raised me?"  "How can I release you into the sea of forgetfulness?"  Jesus said that in this life, we are like lilies in the field, here today and gone tomorrow.  We are like a vapor of smoke.  He gave his life and paid for our sins so that we might have hope and eternal life. But, God sees our tears and saves them forever. He sees what no one else can.  Thank you, Jesus, for saving my mother’s soul.

Jesus saved your soul, that day that you prayed with me over 4 years ago.  The day you accepted Him as your Lord and Savior! And it is His promise that assures me that you are in heaven right now...because of Jesus Christ dying on the cross for you and you believing that!  Nothing else in this life matters.

Momma, until I see you again, in heaven, the tender melody of your love for your youngest son...your Colorado boy, Melvin Morrison will always be playing in my heart...echoing throughout eternity!  I love you mom!

Dear Mom, My thanks be to God for allowing me to meet you. We talked often,I miss that! Although, I didn't share in the memories of your family, you would be pleased to know that the magnificant family you left behind is now my family.   Until we meet again Mom, Love, Your First Born...Gabby!

Thank you for all the love and support you gave to all of your kids,Dad, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
