Margarita Almeida de Rasura, age 89, passed away Monday evening, October 14, 2013. She entered eternal peace where she rejoined the love of her life, her husband of 52 years, Salvador. Together they now rest in heaven watching over us all.
A devout Catholic, she placed her faith in God with everything she did. Margarita is survived by her children: Salvador, Ricardo, Margarita, Jaime, Carolina, George, Steve and Ray. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The wake will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N. Resler Drive. A Mass will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 10:30 am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere Drive with the internment to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery in Santa Teresa, NM. please visit our website at www.MartinFuneralHomeWest.com
