Maria Gomez Cortinas, 81, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away May 22, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Survived by husband Jesus Cortinas; sons, Jesus Cortinas Jr. (wife, Edna) and Robert D. Cortinas; daughters Irene Cortinas and Martha C. Koester (husband, Jay); grandchildren, Sarah F. Olivas (husband, Orlando), Daniel J. Cortinas (wife, Celeste), Stephanie M. Estrada (husband, David), Ernesto J. Cortinas (wife, Ietzy), Mia L. Koester and Amanda A. Cortinas; great-grandchildren, Orlando Olivas Jr., Destiny M. Martinez, Orion Olivas, Cailey M. Leos, Mason D. Cortinas, Riley D. Estrada, Jason E. Cortinas, Sloan L. Cortinas, Madeline B. Cortinas; and brother Pedro Zavala. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Monday, May 28, 2018 at 5 p.m., with rosary at 7 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, May 29, at 11:15 a.m., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church with burial to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert D.
