Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Maria Luisa Fang, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born on August 25, 1945, in El Paso Texas to the late Jose Z. and Guadalupe Lorenza Garnica. She is survived by her husband, Genaro O. Fang; her daughter, Lorena (Charles); sons, Gerardo J. (Corina) and Fernando (Emily); grandchildren, April Fang, Gerald Fang, Michael Fang, Jacob Fang, Kristopher Fang, Charley Quiroz and Alexander Quiroz. Other survivors include sisters, Julia Trevizo; Cristina (Alfredo) Luera; Rita (Clay) Wimer; brother, Enrique Garnica; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso and she was the oldest of her siblings. She loved to cook, read and doing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed family gatherings and was the most welcoming, friendly and warm person to her family and friends. She will forever be in our hearts and remembered as a loving, nurturing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend with the biggest heart. We will deeply miss her understanding nature and genuine laughter.
