The sun set on March 22, 2026 for our beloved mother, grandma, suegra, tia, sister, and friend, Mary Gonzalez. She left this earth after a full and meaningful life. Her bright spirit is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.

Mary was a tireless caregiver and provider. She raised her family while working full-time and earning her Associates. Despite life's challenges she remained strong, determined, and resilient always persevering through difficult times.

She lived her life to the fullest, finding joy in basketball, swimming, gardening, cooking, taking care of her grandchildren, and showcasing her talents as a highly-skilled seamstress. As evident of her beauty, elegance, and classy style. Mary had a special way of bringing grace and creativity into everything she did. No matter the trait she always desired to enrich her perception of life.

She instilled in her children the importance of education and encouraged them to succeed in every facet of life.

Our Grandma Mama Mary "Meno" was loving, courageous, a fighter, and a devoted Catholic who always kept her faith in the Lord.

Mom, your eternal journey in the light of our loving Father's warmth has begun. We love you always.

She is survived by her sons Jose (Guadalupe), Ruben (Veronica), daughter Leticia (Miguel); her cherished grandchildren Zack, Elias, Melissa (Ben), Olivia (Alex), Nicholas, Isabella, Giuliana, nieces Doris (Richard), Mary, Lupie, Lourdes and many more beloved nieces and nephews.

A Memorial will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915, US, on May 14, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr, El Paso, TX 79915, US, on May 15, 2026, at 12:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938, US, on May 15, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
