Martha C. Flores, 88, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on December 7, 2020, surrounded by her children at her home.
Martha possessed a deep devotion to her late husband, Luis Alfonso Flores, Sr., and her three children: Louie Flores, Jr. (Pat), Hank Flores (Patty), and Liz Veliz (Robert) all of El Paso. Martha is also survived by four grandsons: Louie Flores, Ill, Stephen Flores, William Veliz, Dylan Veliz, one great-grandson: Aiden Flores, and her brother, Hector Carpio (Bertha). Her family was most important as she spent her favorite moments with her loved ones
Martha shared her life with much fervor with her family and friends. She found much pleasure serving others by volunteering at St. Raphael's Catholic School and assisting annually at the Operation Noel Telethon. Martha was an avid sports fan. She held season tickets for both UTEP Basketball and the El Paso Chihuahuas. Martha enjoyed watching her favorite teams, the New York Yankees and the Green Bay Packers. She bowled at least three times a week as a member of the Lady Keglers. Martha was co-owner of Flores Photography.
Martha will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her kind heart and the glimmer in her eye when she smiled will never be forgotten.
A sincere thanks to Renee from Always Best Care Senior Services, Hospice of El Paso, and Ana Diaz who provided her compassionate and loving care. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Luis and Martha Flores Scholarship Fund at St. Raphael's Catholic School or Operation Noel. Due to COVID, a celebration of Martha's life with family and friends will be planned at a future date.
