Martina Galindo

Martina Y. Galindo, 95, was born in El Paso, Texas to the late Angelina Avina and Manuel Munoz on March 28, 1928. She spent her childhood and adolescent life making memories with her six siblings like visiting La Feria de San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico, her second home. She married Ramon Galindo in 1959 in San Bartolo Naucalpan, Mexico and raised their children in El Paso, Texas. Martina was devoted to her faith and family. She was an avid storyteller, forward thinker, music admirer and always intellectually ahead of her time. Martina modeled a life well lived and will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Ramon, and leaves behind a legacy of love. She is survived by her children, Martha Galindo and Olga Galindo, her grandchildren, Erika Salcido, Christopher Salcido, Karyna Romo (Janeth Segundo), Adrian Romo and Mauricio Romo. A visitation for Martina will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church, 1700 George Dieter Dr, El Paso, TX 79936. A graveside service will occur Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907.
