MaryLou Thomas was born on August 27, 1948 and passed away at her residence on May 22, 2025. She lost her two and a half year battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Bill Thomas, sons Johny Blalack (Cindy) and William Thomas JR (Yaya), Grandsons Johny Blalack JR (Jammie), Joseph Blalack, Jessica Blalack, as well as her great grand kids Cayla Overfelt and Johny Blalack III. She is also survived by her brother Russell Violett (Janeen) as well as two nieces Alyssa and Heidi, and two nephews Russell Jr and Ryan. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. MaryLou was retired from Southwestern Bell in May of 2002 after 32 wonderful years. She loved her job, coworkers, the Washington Red Skins, and trips to Las Vegas with her husband. She always loved her puppies Tanner and Goldie. In Lieu of flowers a donation to American Cancer Society or the El Paso Humane Society is appreciated.
Visitation is scheduled at Martin Funeral Home East on June 11th from 4 pm to 7pm.
