Michael James Montoya

Michael was born to Fermin Montoya and Lucy Horton on 11/8/1966 in Roswell NM. Which remained his life long home.

Michael was Preceded in death by his mother Lucy and sister Monica Chaves, grandparents Fermin and Goldie Montoya and Andres and Lola Horton.

Michael is survived by his children Dorothy Lujan husband Felix, Michel Montya Jr. husband Jose and Jacob Montoya. Grandchildren Isaac, Eric, Aleena, Nevaeh, Max, Lisa, Iglesias, Zia,Tonii, and Axena. Father Fermin Montoya, Sister Nichole Montoya. Brothers Eugene Montoya, Joseph Montoya and Steve Chaves. He also leaves behind his Ride or Die Rosie Trujillo. As well as numerous aunts uncles and cousins.

Micheal enjoyed drawing, making dream catchers, engraving glass and other artistic endeavors. He enjoyed keeping up with relatives on the phone and talking football and was willing to bet some push-ups on his Eagles.

Memorial services will be held in Roswell NM. Friends and family will be notified when arrangements are made.
