Miguel Angel Torres, born July 18, 1953, passed on November 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A proud United States Marine, Miguel lived a life of honor, discipline, and quiet strength. His service shaped the integrity and devotion that guided him throughout his years.
An educator by trade and a teacher in every sense of the word, Miguel believed in the power of patience, encouragement, and example. He spent his life guiding young minds, uplifting others, and offering wisdom with gentleness and humor. He loved working with children, finding joy in their curiosity and potential.
Miguel was a man of many passions—he loved to cook, go for walks, and create a home filled with warmth. A devout Catholic, his faith was the foundation of his life. It carried him, strengthened him, and became the anchor for his family. His devotion was his greatest attribute, and through it he taught love, resilience, and gratitude.
Miguel is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Maria Luisa Torres, whom he loved more than life itself. Their marriage was a true love story—one built on partnership, respect, laughter, and unwavering devotion. He cared for her always, and their bond was a shining example of lasting love. He is also survived by his daughters Veronica and Marissa, his son Adrian, and his beloved grandchildren Isabella, Noah, Madison, and Oliver.
Miguel is further survived by his brothers Saul Torres, Humberto Torres, Fidel Torres, Victor Torres, and Alonso Torres. He shared a deep and lifelong bond with them—one built on loyalty, laughter, storytelling, and steadfast support. Their closeness was a defining part of his life, and the strength of that brotherhood will continue to live on in their memories and connection to one another.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Luz Torres Betancourt, his father Fidel Torres Berumen, and his brother Jaime Torres whom he honored and carried with him throughout his life.
He loved his family deeply—he lived for them, prayed for them, and found his greatest joy in their happiness. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and purpose—one that will continue in the hearts and lives of all who were blessed to know him.
