Born June 2, 1941, in Galeana, Mexico and called by God on July 29, 2024, in El Paso, Texas.
Nano’s strong work ethic began at a young age working as a shoe-shiner, a newspaper vendor in downtown El Paso and delivering Western Union telegrams on bicycle. He was then introduced to the Glass and Aluminum Industry in 1961 by El Paso Plate Co. where he excelled and Mastered as a Glazier. From this founded knowledge, he opened Nano’s Glass in 1980 specializing in Residential, Commercial and Flat Auto Glazing.
His passion for classic cars led to the formation of NewBreed Car Club who celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2024 and has made a phenomenal mark in the lowrider community. Earning countless trophies and awards for his lowrider builds, he ensured NewBreed used this platform to give back to the community by partaking in annual Toys for Tots, donating to charity and helping ones in need.
He is survived by his wife Curry and younger brother Mandis. Leaving behind three children, Irene, Pat, Nano Jr., four grandchildren, Vince, Darlene, Danielle, Sydney and seven great grandchildren, Vinny, Cameron, Vaughn, Bellamy, Jordan, Eliana and Vice.
God broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best. His golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands now rest, he will forever be missed. Though we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay, please walk aside us until we meet again someday.
