Nelda S. Williams

Nelda S. Williams, 77, of El Paso, TX, passed away November 15, 2018. She was born in Danville, IL on October 12, 1941. Nelda received a bachelors degree in nursing from St. Francis University. She was married to Joseph Williams on September 22, 1964. Nelda had a career in nursing for Cook County Hospital and Woodland Hospital. Nelda served as the director of nursing in Illinois, Indiana and Texas and provided compassionate and loving care to thousands of patients. She had a passion for fostering dogs, shopping, garage sales and going to the beach. She was survived by daughter Joelle D. Lyles, son-in-law John Lyles, son John C. Williams, daughter-in-law Julianne Purnick Williams, grandchildren: Chelsea I. Pratts, Zoie B. Williams, Samantha L. Williams, sister Sally A. Foote, brother John C. Lind and beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
