

She was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico, grew up there and lived in El Paso, Texas. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was a homemaker, an Excellent Seamstress. She had a Lifetime Membership in PTA, holding various different Official Offices, including the President of Ranchland Hills Elementary School PTA. She was active in Girls Scouts and Boy Scouts with her children. She was a Precinct Judge for Del Norte Elementary School. She was a member of Independent Order of Foresters-IOF and held different Court Positions. During WWII she worked in an Airplane Factory in making parts needed in building airplanes for the US Government/Armed Forces support in San Pedro, California. Employed for many years at SS Kress department store, and worked for the US Census Bureau as an Enumerator. She was a Cancer Survivor. Preceded in death was Husband Joe Arciero, Parents Cipriano Esqueda and Trinidad Esqueda, Brother Rafael Esqueda, Sister Jesusita (Jessie) Stephenson. Surviving Children: Myrna Taboada, Evelia Bachman (Bill).Gilberto Arciero (Grace) and Stepdaughter Joanna Simon. Grandchildren: Melissa Garcia (Javier), Araceli Fleet (Michael), Ariana Pino (Mike), and Joshua Bachman (Lindsey). Step Grandchildren Cheryl Davis (Dennis), Ronald Simon (Lisa), Kimberly Weber (Marvin). Great Grand Children: Jianna Garcia and Jiselle Garcia. Step Great Grand Children: Dennis Davis II (Jackie), Brian Davis, Brandi Weber, Austin Simon and families. Step Great Great Grand Children: Dominic Davis, Dalton Davis, Clara Davis, Mia Davis. Sisters: Virginia Gilpin (Bill), Reyna Stauffer. Brothers: Esequiel Esqueda, Roberto Esqueda. Brother in Laws: B.G. (Steve) Stephenson, Arturo Arciero, Esequiel Arciero. Numerous Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews. Pall Bears: Ralph Borunda, Ralph Esqueda, Gilberto Arciero, Jack McCoy, Leopoldo Arciero, Gilbert Guillen. Honorary Pallbearers: Bill Bachman, Joshua Bachman, Robert Flores. Family would like to thank with love and gratitude to Mrs. Guadalupe Lara (Hector), Margarita Hernandez, and Edith Gonzalez, for wonderful care given to our mother for 10 years at the Foster Home. Thank You to AM Home Health and Hospice staff for the great care to Our mother. Thank you to Deacon William Reyes with Hospice, he is our Guardian Angel that provided unlimited time with our mother with prayer, songs,and Meditation with her, and assist in planning her Rosary and Mass. Visitation will be held from 5-9pm on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 Carolina with Vigil at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Monday, February 27, 2017 at St. Pius X. Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery.
