Nicholas Albert Malooly

Nicholas “Nick” Albert Malooly was tragically and unexpectedly lost to his loving family on January 4th 2014. He was born on a bright November morning in 1981 to Albert Malooly and Suzanne Cardon in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by both parents and a younger brother, Blake Malooly , and his best four legged friends Audrey and Roxy. Nick loved life and embraced all his family and friends with his big heart, generosity of spirit, and warm nature. Nick will be fondly and joyously remembered for his perceptive intelligence, inquiring mind and easy laughter. He surrounded himself with music and movies in which he created his own special world. In this world was his Dad, his constant and vigilant companion throughout.

He is survived by his parents, brother, “Sitoo” Selma Malooly, Grandmother Marjorie Cardon, his aunts and uncles, many close cousins, and close friend Kelly Cella. Nick was preceded in death by “Jidoo” Albert Malooly, Grandfather Bill Cardon and Uncle Kenneth Malooly. Nicholas was loved dearly by everyone who knew him and will be sorely missed.

Pallbearers are Matthew and Cameron Malooly, Josh Quinn, Henry Horner, Joel DeLuca, Justiss Rasberry, Ryan and Skyler Malooly. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Salome, Joseph “Sib” Abraham, Ronnie Esper, Richard Esper, Alan Malooly, Bobby Malooly, Paul Malooly, Sean Cardon, Greg Azar, Dan Longoria, and Tony Mullen.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm with a Trisagion Service at 7:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N. Resler with Rev. Father George Al-Dehneh officiating. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014, 10am at Martin Funeral Home West. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery 4848 Alps.
