Norma Martinez Lopez

Norma was known for her high-spirited personality and greatly enjoyed spending her weekends with her children, grandchildren, and partner Oscar in her backyard, cooking out and listening to oldies. Norma was a hard worker and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Norma was predeceased by her father: Alberto Martinez, her mother: Marcelina Lopez de Martinez, her sister: Marisela Alfonso and her brother: Roberto Martinez.

She is survived by her two sons: David (Eleanor) Matamoros, and Daniel (April) Matamoros, four grandchildren: David, Aubrie, Ella and Aaliyah. Five sisters: Bertha Bustamante, Patricia Gallardo, Silvia Escapita, Laura Porras, Rosa Galindo, and two brothers: Manuel Martinez and Jesus Martinez. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Norma will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Rosary at 7:00 PM, at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer, El Paso, Texas 79904. Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama, followed by Committal service at 1:00 PM at Restlawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, 8700 Dyer.
