Olga Placencia Uranga

Olga Placencia Uranga, 91, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born July 31, 1932 in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua to Angela Gamez De la Cruz and Isauro Placencia Chavez. She was one of thirteen children. Olga was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Her legacy of love, family and faith will forever remain in our hearts.

Olga is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus “Chuy” Uranga. She is survived by her son, Ignacio Dominguez Jr. (Thelma), daughter, Ginny Dominguez Manquero, son, Jesse Uranga (Sandra) and son, Oscar Uranga (Beatriz), nine grandchildren; LeShem, Robin, Jessica, Billy, Jazmyne, Alexis, Jacob, Oscar Jr., and Lauren and four great-grandchildren; Malaia, Josiah, Rhea, and Scarlette, and beloved extended family.

Our family invites you to join us in honoring her life on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Visitation at 5:00 p.m. followed by rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, TX. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 12 at 8:45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church, 4700 Delta Dr., El Paso, TX. Graveside service to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Rd., El Paso, TX.
