Oscar Ortiz, 90, was born on June 19, 1930 in San Elizario, TX. He passed away on January 17, 2021 in El Paso, TX . Oscar served as a member of the US Army Air Corps in 1946 during WWII. After honorably serving his country, he worked as a civil service employee at Ft. Bliss Army Base, retiring in 1985.
Oscar is preceded in death by his Father Genaro Ortiz, Mother Luz G Ortiz, sons Roberto “Bobby” Ortiz, Sr., Willie Ortiz, and Freddy Ortiz.
Oscar is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Virginia G. Ortiz, sons Reynaldo Oscar Ortiz (Norma) Jose A Ortiz, Sr and Daughter Sylvia Ortiz. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
