

Patricia Ann Cervin-Yegge was born in El Paso, TX to Ramon (Joe) Hanson and Nancy Hanson. Growing up in El Paso, TX, Patty Ann graduated from Austin High School where she was a cheerleader and held a job at Tri Joe’s automotive, her father’s automotive repair business. Patty Ann, was married to James (Jim) Chestnut for a short time following high school graduation. Patty’s second marriage to Arturo Cervin, Jr. blessed her with two beautiful children, Stephanie and Christopher.
Patricia joined the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and became one of only 3 female Correctional Deputy’s out of over 3,000 applicants upon successfully graduating from the academy. She took pride in her accomplishments as did her family. Patricia was medically retired with honor in 1998 after an incident while serving as a Correctional Deputy at Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, CA.
Patricia’s love and energetic approach to life was often experienced by her 9 loving grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. God did bless Patricia with the love of her life Stephen Lynn Yegge, married in 2005 spending 19 beautiful years taking care of one another. Steve proved to be every bit the great man Patricia saw him to be as he was loving, kind, caring, patient, and faithful. Patricia and Stephen blended their families and Patricia gained three additional amazing children, Kathryn, Derrick, and Kara and 4 more wonderful grandchildren.
Patricia is preceded in death by her sister Virginia Hanson, brother Ramon Hanson, parents Ramon & Nancy Hanson and her beloved husband Stephen. She is survived by her children Stephanie, Chris, Kat, Derrick, and Kara, her sisters Edna Mae and JoAn, brothers Eric and Billy, and all her grandchildren and other family members who love her dearly.
Patricia placed her faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and now spends every moment with Him in beautiful everlasting life. Her dying wish was for her family to do the same and remain in God’s eternal embrace.
