She was born on May 8th 1964 in El Paso, TX as the middle of 4 children. Graduated from Andres High School in 1982, went on to study education at the University of Texas at El Paso where she went as far as to achieve her Masters of Education in 2018. During that time she had joined Delta Kappa Gamma and began working at Rosa Guerrero Elementary. She would continue to follow her passion to teach for 24 years, moving between different grades and impacting many students who adored her. She had many other passions including bowling, reading, traveling, fashion, her faith, and putting time into her grandsons.
She is survived by her daughters Courtney and Samantha Rasura, as well as by her grandsons Phillip and Silas Shattuck.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked to continue in the memory of this dedicated teacher with a donation to be made to Kids Excel El Paso Foundation Donation Form (donorperfect.net) or with a check payable to Kids Excel El Paso, Inc. (PO Box 920144, El Paso, TX 79912) with mention in the memo in memory of Patricia Rasura.
