Pearl Blanche was preceded in death by her parents Lamberto Aguilar and Jane Miller, and by her brother Federico Aguilar.
Pearl Blanche is survived by her children Rebecca Diana González, Christelle Duran (Cesar) and Rick González (Donna Schwartz), her grandchildren Nathan Duran, Zachary Duran and Daniel Duran.
Pearl Blanche is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Everyone who met Pearl Blanche, whether for the first time as an acquaintance or for the thousandth time as a friend or family member, was greeted with sincere enthusiasm and a warm smile. Pearl Blanche knew how to make you feel welcomed and valued, with her beautiful voice, her sparkling eyes, and her genuineness. She was a engaging conversationalist who drew you in, as she shared stories about her childhood in Marfa, experiences as a student at Loretto Academy in El Paso, and living with the nuns at Queen of Angels while she completed high school. Pearl Blanche enjoyed sharing her love and knowledge of the Catholic faith, the joy she experienced being a member of the St. Patrick's Cathedral Church Choir and later of the St. Luke's Catholic Church Choir. Her faith and cultural heritage were important to her as could be seen in her collection of retablos and paintings. Music, movies, fashion, and jewelry were also things she loved.
Pearl Blanche was most passionate about her family, her three children and three grandsons. She often accompanied her daughter Rebecca to lunch, shopping, or work events. She enjoyed the company of Rebecca's pet chihuahuas, first Princess Helia, then Prince Bailey and helped care for the many turtles that found refuge in her backyard. Pearl Blanche eagerly looked forward to her annual trips to Florida to visit her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Donna. She loved to catch up on the latest news about the veterinary practices and Rick's fishing expeditions. She also enjoyed visits, cookouts, holiday celebrations and dinners with her daughter and son-in-law, Christelle and Cesar. Pearl Blanche truly loved being a grandmother to Nathan, Zachary and Daniel. They brought excitement to her life and she readily cheered on them at their football games and graduations. She was proud of all of her children's and grandson's accomplishments.
Pearl Blanche will be fondly remembered as a mother, grandmother, cousin, aunt and friend. She will be remembered as the very elegant woman who lived her life with faith, passion and love for others.
A gathering of remembrance for Pearl Blanche will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N Resler Dr, El Paso, Texas 79912, followed by a prayer service at 6:00 PM.
