Pedro Solis

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Pedro Solis, 72, announce his sudden death after a short illness on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Born to Eduardo and Rosa Solis, he was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas who served in Platoon 335 of the U. S. Marine Corps. He was a hardworking man of many trades; and, was a great support to his family and friends. He is survived by his current wife Liliana Solis; son, Pedro Solis; daughters, Virginia Bridges, Bonnie Cera, Lydia Cobos & Deborah Solis; brothers, Marcos Solis, Enrique Solis, Victor Solis, Hector Solis & David Solis; and, sisters, Emma Armendariz, Berta Moreno, Maria Luisa Gonzalez & Rosa de Fatima Barrios. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 9:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 4006 Hidden Way. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery.
