It's been 5 years, today, Ms. Randy. A lot has changed with the world, the city, the utility. A lot of us have changed. But the emptiness we feel in our hearts because of your absence has remained the same. We all miss you, love you, and remember what a profound impact you had on everyone around you.

Randy, 
Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. I see your face everywhere. I still talk to you. I miss you more than you would ever have known. You’re a light that will never go out. I don’t go out to see you as often as I should, but every time I do I stand next to you and sob. I miss you, friend. You were, and still are, loved by everyone. 

Because of who the widower is, I understand why she did it.

It will be two years since your passing and I continue to pray every night for you, your kids and your family.  I pray your kids are always reminded of how much you loved them and that they grow up to be strong, kind and loving like their mama.  You will never be forgotten Randy.  


I was Randy’s high school classmate at Silva. She’s the reason I was able to get through English class. Randy always loved to joke around and she was also a great listener. I will never forget talking about hoops and hip hop with her. She truly was a genuinely sweet person.

Randy may you rest in eternal peace. As I remember you as a vibrant, intellectual and articulate young lady who was admired at the Health Department.  You were so good with your students, I remember the kids asking, "Is Ms. Randy still going to teach us?" Ms. Randy you will be sorely missed, I cherish our memories we made and was so blessed to have crossed paths in our lives  and will continue to keep them in my heart.   Thank you for all your kind words during my battle with cancer and during my difficult times.

I miss you more than you know Randy. I cherish the times we spent talking and laughing and sometimes crying. I remember the first time we talked over the phone. It started out as business, but ended as friendship.  You were always genuine and kind.  A beautiful human being inside and out.  May God's love and peace embrace you <3

Randy was always so caring & upbeat. She will be dearly missed. I will always remember her warm and inviting smile. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family. I hope in these hard times that we can all take comfort in the knowledge that our dear Randy is now at home with the Lord.

I remember that night you were dropping me off at my parent's house and we sat in your car talking about life and relationships, and there was even a little crying and hugging. It was one of those heartfelt moments between friends that sticks with a person. I'll never forget your sweetness, nor your love of Nine Inch Nails. I'm thankful we were able to reconnect and catch up with each other years following graduation, and am honored to have had your friendship in the time we had.

So many great memories I still remember holding you in my arms as a baby ! So many holidays ,birthdays and especially mother days at grandmas house and as we grew older we grew closer and closer your were a great listener and so much great advice you gave me. when grandma passed away almost 2 yrs ago brought us even closer together we were there for each other every step of the way .
