Born on August 26, 1982 in El Paso, Texas to Raul and Lorena Carbajal.
Those who knew Raul, lovingly known as Beech, knew exactly what it felt like to be wrapped up in his light, warmth, positivity, and laughter… with just enough dark humor to keep you laughing when you least expected it. Raul had a way of making people feel seen and accepted as they were. He was a protector, a comfort, and somehow everyone’s big brother.
While our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing Raul is now at peace, reunited with his wife Lea, his Pops Raul Sr., and all those gone before him.
The love he gave so freely doesn’t end here. It will keep surrounding us, in the memories we all share. We’ll miss his laughter, his hugs, his delicious food and the memes he always sent at the perfect time. And we’ll carry him with us every day because a love like Raul’s doesn’t leave.
He will be missed beyond measure by his Mother (Lorena), younger siblings (Priscilla, Anthony and Mia), Nieces and Nephews (Stevie, Eli, Noe, Alicia and Eleazar), Godson (Christian Simon Castañon) and his beloved Cataleya. He also leaves behind loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and countless friends who became family along the way.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a vigil at 7:00 pm at Crestview Funeral Home, located at 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas, 79936. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 27, 2026 at 10 am at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, 12200 Vista Del Sol Drive, El Paso, Texas, 79936. Services will conclude thereafter.
Pallbearers honoring Beech's memory include Anthony Carbajal, Christian Castañon, Jorge Gonzalez, Julio Munoz, Michael Lopez, Roman Davalos, Steven Lopez, and Timothy Opdkye.
Beech will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by all who knew him.
