

Ray Everett McNutt went to be with his Lord on Thursday May 20, 2010 after a brief illness. He was born in Trinity, Texas and was a resident of El Paso, Texas since 1925. Ray was the former owner of Thunderbird Oil Company for 30 years. He served in the Texas State Legislature in 1962-1964. Ray served in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. He was an avid fan of UTEP sports, especially the basketball team. He was preceded in death by his parents Lila and Malcolm McNutt, brothers Blaine, Cecil, Trevor, Jack and Joe McNutt, sister Mary Jane, son Steven Malcolm McNutt. Survivors include wife Jan, sons Gregory, Russell, Jack and Tommy McNutt. Ray is survived by three daughters-in-law Gina McNutt, Donna McNutt and Monica McNutt and grandchildren Matthew McNutt, Meghan McNutt, Corbin McNutt, Hunter McNutt, Tatum McNutt, Ray Everett McNutt II and Tom Donaldson McNutt. Ray is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis on the Hill Anglican Church, 6280 Los Robles.
